Cleaning the Print Head Nozzles From the Control Panel This procedure cleans the print nozzles and removes any deposits that may impair printing functions. To run the procedure: 1 Press the Menu button repeatedly until the code U04 appears in the Display. Ensure there is paper in the Automatic Paper Feeder. 2 Press Start. The WorkCentre prints a head cleaning test pattern. Notice the series of diagonal lines across the top and bottom of the test pattern. Breaks within a line of the same color indicate a clogged nozzle. Try running this procedure again if you see breaks in the diagonal lines. If the print quality is satisfactory after running the test three times, the print nozzles are clean. If the print quality of the test pattern is still not satisfactory, go to step 3. 3 Remove and reinstall the print cartridge. 4 Repeat the Print Head Nozzle procedure. 5 If the diagonal lines are still broken, wipe the print cartridge nozzles. Cleaning the Print Head Nozzles From the Control Panel
This procedure cleans the print nozzles and removes any deposits that may
impair printing functions.
To run the procedure:

Press the
Menu
button repeatedly until the code
