Basic Operations and Display Items Basic operations This instrument features four basic functions: Voice, Style, Song/Audio and Groove Creator. To use this instrument, select a basic function first, and then select the desired data to use for your performance. 1 Select a basic function. 2 Select data to use. 3 Start playback. 4 Play the keyboard. 1 Select the desired function by pressing one of the [VOICE], [SONG/AUDIO], [GROOVE CREATOR], and [STYLE] buttons. When you select a basic function, the current setting value for the selected function will be shown. NOTE Only one of the Style, Song/Audio, Groove Creator function can be used. The lamp (located beside the TRACK CONTROL buttons) of the currently selected function lights up. 2 Select the desired data (Voice, Style, Song/Audio or Groove). The data can be selected by one of the following methods. • By using the dial • By selecting a category (only for Voices and Styles) • By inputting the number directly For details on each operation, refer to "Selecting Data" on page 21. 3 Press the [START/STOP] to start play- back of Style, Song, Audio or Groove. NOTE Press the [START/STOP] button again to stop playback. 4 Play the keyboard with the selected Voice. Basic operations
This instrument features four basic functions: Voice, Style, Song/Audio and Groove Creator. To use this instru-
ment, select a basic function first, and then select the desired data to use for your performance.

Select the desired function by pressing
one of the [VOICE], [SONG/AUDIO],
[GROOVE CREATOR], and [STYLE] but-
tons.
When you select a basic function, the current set-
ting value for the selected function will be shown.

Select the desired data (Voice, Style,
Song/Audio or Groove).
The data can be selected by one of the following
methods.
By using the dial
By selecting a category (only for Voices
and Styles)
By inputting the number directly

Play the keyboard.
Only one of the Style, Song/Audio, Groove Creator function
can be used. The lamp (located beside the TRACK CON-
TROL buttons) of the currently selected function lights up.
