Connecting and Using a Microphone Using the Talk Function Press the [MIC VOCAL/TALK/MUTE] button to switch the Mic type to Talk. Mic on Mic type: Vocal Mic on Mic type: Talk Disconnecting the Microphone 1 Turn the volume down by turning the [MASTER VOLUME] control all the way to the left. Mic off When the Mic type is set to Talk, the reverb and chorus are turned off and the microphone is panned to the center. 2 Turn the instrument off. 3 Disconnect the microphone from the [MIC INPUT] jack. Panning the Microphone You can adjust the microphone's pan (position) setting. Make this setting in the Function Settings (page 64, Function 045). Adding Reverb and Chorus to the Microphone You can add effects to the microphone for vocals, such as Reverb to make it sound as if you are singing in a concert hall, or Chorus to add depth and natural movement to your voice.
