Saving Your Favorite Settings (Registration Memory) Recalling Panel Settings from Registration Memory 1 Press the [BANK] button to select a Bank number (1 to 8). Appears when either Freeze is on (see right). 1 Bank number Registration Memory number The Registration Memory number, to which settings are saved, lights. 2 Press the desired [MEMORY] button, [1] to [4]. Specifying Panel Settings to be Maintained Across Registration Memory Changes (Freeze) Various settings can be saved in Registration Memory and recalled with a single operation. However, in some cases you might want to use the Registration Memory without changing specific settings, depending on the performance situation. For example, you might want to switch between Voice settings and Effect settings without changing the Style. In such cases, if "Style Freeze" is turned on, Style related settings are maintained (frozen) without changing, even if you press a [REGISTRATION MEMORY] button. Make each of the freeze settings in the Function Settings (page 66). • Style Freeze (StyleFrz): Function 073 • Transpose Freeze (TransFrz): Function 074 • Voice Freeze (VoiceFrz): Function 075 The recalled Registration Memory number appears in the display for a few seconds, indicating that the desired panel settings have been recalled. 1REGIST 1 Bank number Registration Memory number NOTE When the [SONG] lamp is lit, the Style or Groove Creator settings will not be recalled even if you press the [REGISTRATION MEMORY] button to which the Style or Groove Creator settings are saved. ing that the desired panel settings have been
recalled.
Various settings can be saved in Registration Mem-
ory and recalled with a single operation. However, in
some cases you might want to use the Registration
Memory without changing specific settings, depend-
ing on the performance situation. For example, you
might want to switch between Voice settings and
Effect settings without changing the Style. In such
cases, if “Style Freeze” is turned on, Style related
settings are maintained (frozen) without changing,
even if you press a [REGISTRATION MEMORY] but-
ton.
Make each of the freeze settings in the Function Set-
tings (page 66).

Recalling Panel Settings from
Registration Memory
When the [SONG] lamp is lit, the Style or Groove Creator
settings will not be recalled even if you press the [REGIS-
TRATION MEMORY] button to which the Style or Groove
Creator settings are saved. If this happens, after pressing
the [STYLE] or [GROOVE CREATOR] button, press the
Registration Memory button to recall the Style and Groove
Creator settings.
