MANUAL SETUP HDMI interlace/progressive up-conversion HDMI I/P Use this feature to activate or deactivate the HDMI I/P upconversion of the analog video signals input at the composite video, S-video and component video jacks so that the analog video signals deinterlaced from 480i to 480p are output at the HDMI OUT jack. Choices: ON, OFF • Select ON to activate the HDMI I/P up-conversion of the analog video signals. • Select OFF to deactivate the HDMI I/P up-conversion of the analog video signals. Notes • This menu item is not available and hence not visible in the OSD if V CONV. is set to OFF. • When the analog video signals with 1080i or 720p of resolution are up-converted to HDMI and output at the HDMI OUT jack, the picture quality may worsen. ■ Memory guard B)MEMORY GUARD Use this feature to prevent accidental changes to DSP program parameter values and other system settings. Use this feature to activate or deactivate the HDMI I/P up-
conversion of the analog video signals input at the
