To re-engage the door check strap, close the door just and the strap will catch thepin. To close the .doors, close the driver's side door first. After securely closing the door, close the passenger's side door. Make sure both doors are latched securely. To lock therear doors from outside the vehicle, your put key in the lock and turn it clockwise.If you have power door locks,you can lock the side doors as well as the rear doors from inside the vehicle. When you park your vehicle and open the driver's door, you'll hear a tone reminding you to remove your key from the ignition and take it with you. Always do this.
