You can specify an open switch relay (normally closed contact) or a closed switch relay (normally open contact). You can also specify whether the output should operate as a bistable or monostable relay. In bistable mode, the triggered state of the relay is maintained. In monostable mode, you can set the time after which the relay will return to the idle state. You can select different events that automatically activate the output. It is possible, for example, to turn on a floodlight by triggering a motion alarm and then turning the light off again when the alarm has stopped. Idle state: Select Open if you want the relay to operate as an NO contact, or select Closed if the relay is to operate as an NC contact. Operating mode: Select an operating mode for the relay. For example, if you want an alarm-activated lamp to stay on after the alarm ends, select Bistable. If you wish an alarm-activated siren to sound for 10 seconds, for example, select 10 sec. Configuration using a Web browser
Relay
You can configure the switching behavior of the relay output. You can specify an
open switch relay (normally closed contact) or a closed switch relay (normally
open contact).
You can also specify whether the output should operate as a bistable or
monostable relay. In bistable mode, the triggered state of the relay is main-
tained. In monostable mode, you can set the time after which the relay will return
to the idle state.
You can select different events that automatically activate the output. It is possi-
ble, for example, to turn on a floodlight by triggering a motion alarm and then
turning the light off again when the alarm has stopped.
Idle state:
Select
Open
if you want the relay to operate as an NO contact, or select
Closed
if the relay is to operate as an NC contact.
Operating mode:
Select an operating mode for the relay.
For example, if you want an alarm-activated lamp to stay on after the alarm
ends, select
Bistable
. If you wish an alarm-activated siren to sound for 10 sec-
onds, for example, select
