DISASSEMBLING PROCEDURE: 17 COVER I. Face plate 0 Remove by loosening three screws 0. 2. Shu:tle race cover 0 Remove two screws 0 and washers 0 at right and left. and remove the cover. 3. Bed cater R Remove screw Q and washer 0. and then bed cover R 0. Also remove washer 0 in the recess of the bed. 4. Top cover C) Q. Remove top cover ® by loosening six screws ® 5. Side cover Remove side cover ® by loosening four screws 6. Bed cover L C) Open bed cover L Q. and pull it out upward. Q 7. Belt cover Remove belt cover by pushing button Q. (Note) Push drive lever up in the arrow direction. turn power pulley Q to lower the work clamp. hold 0. drive leveret there. push power actuating leverID in the arrow direction, release drive lever and turn the pulley by hand one or two turns. 8. Raise the machine head. and remove the V-belt. 9. Return the machine head. 10. Remove the chain. 2 PRESSER ARM I. Needle bar thread guide 0 0. Remove screw 0. needle 0. and then needle bar thread guide 2. Presser arm 0 Remove presser arm 0 by taking off bolts° and washers 0 at right and left. 3. Feed plate 0 Remove feed plate 0 by taking off two screws 0. G. 4. Bobbin case 0 Remove bobbin case 0 by holding the latch. 2. Shuttle race ring 0 Turn shuttle race ring set claws 0 out to the right and left. and remove shuttle race tinge. Remove shuttle hook 0 at the same time. 3. Driver 0 Turn the pulley by hand until the bolt comes to the adjusting hole O. then loosen the bolt, and remove driver 0. 0 O O 0 -9-
