It is generally better to use it sparingly, or in order to reframe between shots. • When you want to get as close as possible to your subject, keep the zoom at the wide-angle position. You can focus on a subject as close as 0.4 in (1 cm). • When you turn the digital zoom on, "800×" appears in the display. • Image resolution is lower when the magnification is greater than 22×.
