[Assign Button 1]: [ [^ Magnification]. DISP.], [Assign Button 2]: [ Push AF], [Assign Button 3]: [LCD Brightness]: Adjusts the brightness of the LCD screen. • Changing the brightness of the LCD screen does not affect the brightness of your recordings or the brightness of the playback image on a TV. [LCD Backlight]: Sets the screen to one of three brightness levels. • Changing the brightness of the LCD screen does not affect the brightness of your recordings or the brightness of the playback image on a TV. • Using the [H Bright] setting will shorten the effective usage time of the battery pack. [Tally Lamp]: When this function is set to [i On], the tally lamp illuminates when the camcorder is recording a clip; it flashes when the self timer is counting down and flashes at a faster rate when under 2 seconds remain. [Auto Power Off]: In order to save power when the camcorder is powered by a battery pack, it will automatically shut off if left without any operation for 5 minutes. • Approximately 30 seconds before the camcorder shuts off, [Auto Power Off] will appear. Operating any of the camcorder's controls while the message is displayed will prevent the camcorder from shutting off. [Battery Info]: This option displays a screen where you can verify the battery charge (as a percentage) and the remaining recording time ( and modes) or playback time ( and modes). • If the battery pack is exhausted, the battery information may not be displayed. • The indicates the battery life of the battery pack. If appears in green, battery life has not diminished. If appears in green, the battery life has partly diminished. If appears in red, we recommend that you replace the battery pack. [HDMI Time Code]: Allows you to output a time code signal from the HDMI OUT terminal. [HDMI Rec Command]: When this function is set to [i On] and you use the HDMI OUT terminal to connect the camcorder to a device compatible with HDMI recording commands, when you start or stop recording with the camcorder, the other device will also start or stop recording.
