Exposure • An adjustment dial will appear on the bottom of the screen. The exposure is locked but you can adjust it using the adjustment dial. 3 Drag your finger left/right along the dial to select the desired value. • You can also push the joystick up/down until the position of the current value is highlighted in orange and 59 then push left/right to adjust the value. • When using only touch exposure, skip to step 6. To use the highlights setting, continue to step 4. 4 Touch [ ] and then touch [ Highlights]. • Touch [ Normal] to turn off the highlights setting. 5 Touch [K] to return to the exposure adjustment screen. 6 Touch [X] to lock the exposure at the selected value. • If the exposure was just locked, will appear on the left side of the screen. If the exposure value was locked and adjusted, in addition, y and the selected exposure value will appear to the left of . AE Shift When using AE shift, you can select from 17 AE shift levels for clips and 13 for photos. 1 Touch [FUNC.] and then touch y [AE Shift]. • An adjustment dial will appear on the bottom of the screen. 2 Drag your finger left/right to move the adjustment dial to the desired setting. • You can also push the joystick itself so that the position of the current setting is highlighted in orange and then push left/right to adjust the setting. 3 Touch [X]. • y and the selected AE shift level will appear on the left side of the screen. Available AE shift levels for clips -2 -1 3/4 -1 1/2 -1 1/4 -1 - 3/4 - 1/2 - 1/4 ±0 +1/4 +1/2 +3/4 +1 +1 1/4 +1 1/2 +1 3/4 +2 Available AE shift levels for photos -2 -1 2/3 -1 1/3 -1 - 2/3 - 1/3 ±0 +1/3 +2/3 +1 +1 1/3 +1 2/3 +2 NOTES • AE shift is not available if exposure lock or touch exposure have been enabled.
