White Balance • Using a custom white balance may provide better results in the following cases: - Changing lighting conditions - Close-ups - Subjects in a single color (sky, sea or forest) 62 - Under mercury lamps, certain types of fluorescent lights and LED lights • Depending on the type of fluorescent light, optimal color balance may not be obtained with [¿ Fluorescent] or [ Fluorescent H]. If the color looks unnatural, select [ Automatic] or a custom white balance setting. Remote Operation Using Browser Remote After completing the necessary preparations (A 125), you can change the white balance option remotely from a connected device using the Browser Remote application. 1 Press the white balance button on the Browser Remote screen. ባ ቢ To set automatic white balance ( ) 2 Select . • The selected option will be displayed on the Browser Remote screen and applied on the camcorder. To set a preset white balance option 2 Select the desired option. • If you selected [È], continue to the next step to set the color temperature. Otherwise, the selected option will be displayed on the Browser Remote screen and applied to the camcorder; you do not need to perform the rest of the procedure. 3 Press [5500K] and then selected the desired value from the list. • The selected value will be displayed on the Browser Remote screen and applied on the camcorder. To set custom white balance ([ ] and [ ]) 2 Point the camcorder at a gray card or white object so it fills the whole screen. 3 Select [ ] or [ ]. 4 Press [Å]. • During the procedure, [ ] or [ ] will flash quickly.
