Select Display a list of the know drivers for the device so I can choose a specific driver. 8. Select the driver and click Have Disk. 9. Insert the KGPSA Windows 2000 Device Driver and Download Utility into the diskette drive. 10. To specify the path, type A:\ and click OK. 11. Restart the node. 12. Repeat steps 1 through 11 for each host adapter. Installing the Fibre Channel Software Setup (FCSS) Utility IMPORTANT: It is recommended you run this utility before any New Technology File System (NTFS) volumes are created on the MA8000/EMA12000 Storage Subsystem. If NTFS volumes exist, running the FCSS utility and rebooting may reassign drive letters. Refer to the StorageWorks documentation for details on drive letter reassignment. The FCSS utility installs the RAIDISK driver and other shared storage subsystem device drivers required for Windows 2000 clusters and sets the Arbitrated Loop Physical Address (ALPA) and registry parameters. To install the FCSS utility: 1. Insert the Solutions Software for ACS CD into your CD-ROM drive and start the setup program. (The CD is included in the MA8000/EMA12000 platform kit.) The initial screen lists several options, as well as available documentation for the FCSS utility. Refer to this documentation for assistance in running the utility. 2. Choose the option that corresponds to the SAN topology used by your cluster: either the Fibre Channel Hub (redundant FC-AL) topology or the Fibre Channel Switch (redundant Fibre Channel Fabric) topology. NOTE: Refer to the StorageWorks Secure Path for Windows 2000 Installation and Reference Guide for details on the parameters you must enter to configure Secure Path.

Installing the Fibre Channel Software Setup (FCSS)
Utility
IMPORTANT:
It is recommended you run this utility before any New Technology File
System (NTFS) volumes are created on the MA8000/EMA12000 Storage Subsystem. If
NTFS volumes exist, running the FCSS utility and rebooting may reassign drive letters.
Refer to the StorageWorks documentation for details on drive letter reassignment.
The FCSS utility installs the RAIDISK driver and other shared storage
subsystem device drivers required for Windows 2000 clusters and sets the
Arbitrated Loop Physical Address (ALPA) and registry parameters.
To install the FCSS utility:
1.
Insert the Solutions Software for ACS CD into your CD-ROM drive and
start the setup program. (The CD is included in the
MA8000/EMA12000 platform kit.)
The initial screen lists several options, as well as available
documentation for the FCSS utility. Refer to this documentation for
assistance in running the utility.
2.
Choose the option that corresponds to the SAN topology used by your
cluster: either the
Fibre Channel Hub
(redundant FC-AL) topology or
the
Fibre Channel Switch
(redundant Fibre Channel Fabric) topology.
NOTE:
Refer to the
StorageWorks Secure Path for Windows 2000 Installation and
Reference Guide
for details on the parameters you must enter to configure Secure Path.
