ENGLISH ENGLISH (4) Connecting a basic 5.1-channel surround system Analog 5.1-channel audio signals can be output from the DVD-5910. The multi-channel audio signals recorded in packed PCM and the multi-channel Super audio CDs can be played when an AV amplifier equipped with analog 5.1-channel audio inputs is connected. To power outlet DVD-5910 FRONT SUBWOOFER CENTER SURROUND CH SEL ENTER AV amplifier with 5.1-channel input terminals NOTES: • For multi-channel connections, set "AUDIO CHANNEL" under "AUDIO SETUP" at "SETUP" to "MULTI CHANNEL" and make the "SPEAKER CONFIGURATION", "CHANNEL LEVEL" and "DELAY TIME" settings. (See pages 40 ~ 44.) • With the DVD-5910, we recommend turning the digital output off by using the "PURE DIRECT MODE" and only outputting analog signals in order to keep interference from the digital output circuitry to a minimum and allow you to enjoy high-quality multichannel sound thanks to the high-bit, high sampling frequency. (See pages 50, 51.) 15
