Setting Up Your System In this chapter you will learn about: how to assemble a knocked-down system how to upgrade your system Setting up a system is easy and takes only a short time. If your dealer has set up your system for you, you can skip this chapter. With the system set up you are now ready to load your application software and begin work. This chapter covers topics you are less likely to need to know right away. You may also skip this chapter unless you want to add to or alter your system unit hardware yourself. It is recommended to have your dealer or technician upgrade your system if you are a novice. Ensure that the power is off before modifying the hardware configuration! Note: Your motherboard will be either the PEM-3300 or the PEM3301. These two motherboards operate in the same basic manner.
