FIRST USE Conditioning the oven It is important to condition your oven before using it for cooking. This will burn off any manufacturing residues and ensure that you get the best results right from the start. It will take appproximately 1 hour. Before you start: Make sure you have removed all packaging and any cable ties used to secure the shelving during transit. Make sure all shelves are fitted in the oven. Make sure the kitchen is well ventilate1d0:4d5uring conditioning. BAKE 10:45 oF 400 10:45 BAKE 1 440000 BAKE oF oF OPTIONS START OPTIONS START Select COOK BY FUNCTION and set the oven to BAKE at 400oF (200oC) and heat for 30 minutes. OPTIONS START 2 10:45 CONVECTION BROIL 10:45 oF 400 10:45 CONVECTION BROIL 440000 CONVECTION BROoFIL oF OPTIONS START OPTIONS OPTIONS START START After 30 minutes change the function to CONVECTION BROIL and heat for 5 minutes. 3 10:45 TRUE CONVECTION 10:45 oF 400 10:45 TRUE CONVECTION 440000 TRUE CONVECTIOoFN oF OPTIONS START After 5 minutes, change the function to TRUE CONVECTION and heat for a further 20 minutes. When you have finished, turn the oven off. OPTIONS OPTIONS START START After conditioning: There will be a distinctive smell and a small amount of smoke during the conditioning process as manufacturing residue is burnt off. This is normal, but make sure the kitchen is well ventilated. Once cooled, wipe out the oven with a damp cloth and mild detergent, and dry thoroughly. 19
