MSA2000sa G2 controller enclosure port information As shown in the following illustration: • SAS host ports: four per controller. Labeled SAS 1, SAS 2, SAS 3, and SAS 4. Use these SAS host ports to connect to the hosts (switch). When two controllers are installed in the enclosure, the controllers are referred to as follows: ◦ Top controller: A, with host ports referred to as A1, A2, A3, and A4. ◦ Bottom controller: B, with host ports referred to as B1, B2, B3, and B4. • SAS expansion port: one per controller.
