Installation options You can specify firmware upgrade behavior for installable components by selecting one or more options from the Additional Options field. Depending on the component type, one of the following screens appears. The first screen applies to firmware and software components and the second screen applies only to firmware. CAUTION: Updating the firmware while a shared device is in use can lead to data loss. Before enabling the Allow Shared Devices option, be sure any other servers sharing the selected devices are offline. • Select Allow Downgrades to downgrade the current firmware to an older version.
