Installing the 2 Print Server HP J3112A for Token Ring (IEEE 802.5) networks. A Data Rate switch selects operation for 4-Mbps or 16-Mbps Token Ring networks. This card provides an RJ-45 connector for networks that use unshielded twisted-pair cables, and a DB 9 connector for Type 1, 2 or 6 shielded twisted-pair cables. Data Rate Switch You can use only one Token Ring port: RJ-45 or DB 9. HP J3113A for Ethernet, IEEE 802.3 Type 10Base-T or IEEE 802.3u Type 100Base-TX networks. Jumpers on the card allow autonegotiated or manual settings for 10 or 100 Mbps operation at full or half duplex.
