Configure the Card for Network Operation If the card has been successfully installed and is operating correctly, you are now ready to configure the card for network operation. You can configure the card using the following methods: G Use the installation and configuration software on the HP JetDirect CD-ROM. On Microsoft Windows 95/98/NT/2000 systems (Microsoft or Novell NetWare networks), the CD-ROM installation utility will guide you through the entire printer setup process. G Use HP printer management software (such as HP Web JetAdmin) or other network utilities. HP printer management software can be downloaded from HP's Customer Care Center (www.hp.com/support/net_printing). For additional information, see the HP JetDirect administrator's guide supplied electronically on the CD-ROM. G Use the printer's control panel (for printers with a supported control panel) to configure basic network parameters on the card. See chapter 3 in this guide.
