2. Lift the connector latch on the system board, and then pull the tab (1) to disconnect the hard drive cable (2). 3. Remove the two Torx T15 screws (3) that secure the hard drive cage to the chassis. 4. Slide the hard drive cage back, and then lift it out of the chassis (4). NOTE: Computer appearance might vary. Solid-state drive To remove the solid-state drive module, use these procedures. The solid-state drive is located under the hard drive and drive cage.
