Disconnect the speaker cable from the system board connector (1). 2. From the outside-front, slide the rubber grommets upward (2). 3. Pull the speaker into the computer to remove it (3). NOTE: Computer appearance might vary. To install the speaker, reverse the removal procedures. Flex I/O connector board To remove flex I/O connector board #1, use these procedures. Before removing flex I/O connector board, follow these steps: 1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 16). 2. Remove the access panel (see Access panel on page 16). 3. If installed, remove the hard drive and drive cage (see Hard drive and drive cage on page 23). Remove flex I/O connector board: ▲ Remove the two Phillips screws that secure the board to the computer (1), and then lift the board to disconnect it from the connector on the system board (2).
