Release the ZIF connector

10. Remove the three Phillips M2.0×3.4 screws (3) and the two Phillips M2.0×4.3 screws (4) that secure the display back cover to the leather cover. 11. Slide the keyboard (1) and display back cover away from the leather cover until it disengages from the leather cover. 12. Swing the top edge (2) of the keyboard and display back cover back and down until the battery cable ZIF connector and back light cable ZIF connector are accessible. 13. Release the ZIF connector (1) to which the TouchPad cable is connected, and then disconnect the TouchPad cable from the system board. 14.
