Power button board Description Power button board Spare part number L38691-001 Before removing the power button board, follow these steps: 1. Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system. 2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer. 3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet, and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer. 4. Remove the display panel (see Display panel on page 25). 5. Remove the webcam (see Webcam on page 36). 6. Remove the leather cover (see Leather cover on page 41). Remove the power button board: 1. Remove the Phillips M2.0×2.9 screw (1) that secures the power button board to the keyboard. 2. Remove the power button board (2).
