The Properties dialog box displays information about a product managed by the HP EFC Manager. For example, for a director, the following information displays: • Name of the product as configured through the Product Manager. • Location of the product as configured through the Product Manager. • Contact person for the product as configured through the Product Manager. • Description of the product as configured through the Product Manager. • Product type, for example "HP Surestore Director FC-64," as configured through the HP EFC Manager's New Product dialog box. • Network address as configured through the HP EFC Manager's New Product dialog box. • Current product operational status: - Operational Product is fully operational. - Degraded Product needs attention. Typically, this appears when a redundant FRU fails, but the product is still performing as designed. - Failed Product needs immediate attention. - Unknown The HP EFC Manager cannot determine product status because of a network communication failure between the product and the HP EFC server, or because the managed product is not responding.
