The HP EFC Manager Event Log The HP EFC Manager's Event Log displays events or error conditions recorded by the HP EFC Management Services application. Entries reflect the status of the application and managed directors. Information associated with a call-home failure is intended for use by maintenance personnel to fault isolate the problem (modem failure, no dial tone, etc.), while information provided in all other entries is generally intended for use by third-level support personnel to fault isolate more significant problems. The log stores up to 1000 entries, the most recent displaying at the top of the log. After 1000 entries are stored, new entries take the place of the oldest entries. To display the Event Log, choose Event Log from the Logs menu. The Event Log displays (Figure 69). Includes both the event number and description when reporting an event to third-level customer support. • The Product column lists the product associated with the event. Some events are associated with the HP EFC Management Services application, while others are associated with a specific instance of the Product Manager application.
