Using the HP EFC Manager Using the Product View The HP EFC Manager's default view is the Product View. Icons in the Product View represent each managed product. The panel displays up to 48 icons. Use the scroll bar to display any icons that are out of view. You can determine the type of product by looking at the icon that displays in the Product View or Topology View or by right-clicking the icon and choosing Properties to display the product's Properties dialog box. The icon in Figure 11 is an HP Surestore Director FC-64 icon. Refer to Expand Name or Address on page 34 for icon functionality information. Figure 11 HP Surestore Director FC-64 Product Icon Shortcut Menu The Product View shortcut menu enables you to add products, change product icon labels, and sort product icons in the panel. Access this menu by right-clicking in the Product View, away from a product icon. The options available from the shortcut menu are: • New Select this option to display the New Product dialog box. Use this dialog box to add a new product to the HP EFC Manager. • Display Options - Product Name - Select this option to display the product's name in the icon label. Change a product's name through the Product Manager. Refer to your product's user manual for instructions. - Network Address - Select this option to display the product's IP address or DNS (Domain Name Server) host name in the icon label.
