Window Layout The HP EFC Manager window is shown in Figure 3. The Microsoft Windows title bar appears at the top of the window. The rest of the window is divided into four panels: • Title panel • Navigation control panel • Alert panel • Main panel Title Panel The title panel denotes the type of view displayed in the main panel. In Figure 3, the title panel indicates that the Product View is displayed in the main panel. Refer to Main Panel Views on page 13 for more details on this and other views. Navigation Control Panel Point to an icon on the navigation control panel to display a menu (refer to Figure 3). Menu options provide access to features that enable you to control and monitor Fibre Channel products. Refer to Using the HP EFC Manager Navigation Control Panel on page 26 for information on HP EFC Manager menu options. Instructions on using these menu options are provided in Using the Product View on page 31. Alert Panel The alert panel displays a colored alert symbol that indicates the most critical status of any product managed by the HP EFC Manager. For example, if one product has failed, and nine other products are fully operational, a red diamond with yellow background displays in the alert panel to indicate the failed product. HP EFC Manager Overview
Window Layout
The HP EFC Manager window is shown in Figure 3. The Microsoft Windows title bar
appears at the top of the window. The rest of the window is divided into four panels:

Title Panel
The title panel denotes the type of view displayed in the main panel. In Figure 3, the title
