To determine which fabric has a managed product with a degraded or failed status, click a fabric icon to display the Topology View for that fabric. Look for the degraded or failed alert symbol behind the product's icon. The degraded or failed alert symbol also appears in the alert panel to show the most critical status of a product in the fabric. Refer to Figure 18. Figure 18 Topology View Panel Showing Degraded Product Another example of product status that you may see in the Topology View is when a product is managed by an HP EFC server other than the one that you are logged into. As shown in Figure 19, since status for the product managed by the other HP EFC Server cannot be determined, the icon for the product will display with no status behind it (such as a green circle, yellow triangle, or grey square). Note that the green circle in the alert panel reflects that the operating status of the product managed by your HP EFC Server. Determining Product Status 47 Using the Fabric Manager
