Setting the Library's IP Address via the Remote Management Card (RMC): Contact your network administrator to obtain the IP address, subnet mask, and gateway address. 1. Install a RJ-45 connector into the network port of the RMC. 2. On the library's back panel, verify that the link LED on the RMC is green. 3. From the front panel, enter the IP address, subnet mask, and gateway address: [Main Menu > Administration > Change Configuration > Network Access]. a. Enter the [Network Access] menu. b. Enter the [IP Address]. Use the [+] key to change the number Use the [->] key to move to the next number. Use the [Down] key to move to the next address. c. Enter the [Subnet Mask] using the same procedure. d. Verify the gateway address. The IP and subnet mask narrows the valid options for the gateway address. 4. Select [OK] when complete to save the changes, or press [Quit] to exit the menu and not save the changes.
