Press down on the center of the battery with your thumb, pushing the battery down into the socket. The battery should snap into place. 11. Ensure the spring latch holds the battery firmly. 12. If necessary, replace the SCSI cable and replace the left side cover. 13. Power on the Server and reset the BIOS (CMOS) settings. Problems Running the Setup Utility If you cannot run the Setup Utility, the HP Server's configuration in CMOS memory may have been corrupted. The only way to recover from a corrupted configuration is to clear it. Refer to "Clearing the CMOS Configuration," earlier in this chapter and reset the BIOS configuration. 82
