"MONITORING SETTINGS" Change the settings for connecting via a network. 1 2 3 4 5 1 "USER (JVC CAM driver)" Lists the registered users. For details, refer to page 19 . "ADD" button Up to four camera driver's users can be added. "UPDATE" button Update the user name and password of the registered user. "DELETE" button Delete the registered user. 2 "PORT NUMBER" Change the port number assigned to the unit, e.g. if the unit conflicts with other devices. 3 "UPnP" Select "OFF" or "ON" for the UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) function. Set it to "OFF" when you connect to a UPnP-incompatible access point (wireless LAN router) or multiple UPnP-compatible devices are connected. CAUTION If the camera's network setting is set to "MANUAL", the UPnP does not work. In this case, set your access point so that you can access the camera on the Internet. "UPnP" may be called as follows depending on the access point: - "IP Masquerade" - "Network Address Translation" - "Virtual Server" 4 "DDNS" Select "OFF" or "ON" for the DDNS (Dynamic Domain Name System) function.
