3-7 DB Assistant (2) Operation Flow The following illustrates the steps required in using the DB Assistant to add file information to scanned image data and designate the folder in which to save that file. Scanner Network Manager Use the DB Assistant to register the file information. Use a Web browser or the scanner itself to register the IP address of the destination computer. Destination Computer Select "Database Connection", select the desired file information and scan the original. Use the Scanner File Utility to select the option to be used: PDF Keyword Assist or Database Assist. Save the image data and file information in the destination folder. Image data file with file information keyword or CSV file which includes and CSV the file information (PDF Keyword Assist option) (Database Assist option) The scanned data will be sent. Page 3-125
