Note • If the "Speakers Type(Front)" setting is set to "Bi-Amp", Powered Zone 2 cannot be used. • When the "Powered Zone 2" setting is set to "Yes", the surround back, front wide and front high speakers cannot be used. Speaker Configuration This setting is set automatically by Audyssey MultEQ® XT Room Correction and Speaker Setup function (➔ page 31). With these settings, you can specify which speakers are connected and a crossover frequency for each speaker. Specify "Full Band" for speakers that can output low frequency bass sounds adequately, for example, speakers with a good sized woofer. For smaller speakers, specify a crossover frequency. Sounds below the crossover frequency will be output by the subwoofer instead of the speaker. Refer to your speaker's manuals to determine the optimum crossover frequencies. If you set up your speakers using Audyssey MultEQ XT Room Correction and Speaker Setup, please make sure manually that any THX speakers are set to "80Hz(THX)" crossover. With this setting, you can specify the cutoff frequency of the LFE channel's low-pass filter (LPF), which can be used to filter out unwanted hum. The LPF only applies to sources that use the LFE channel. Note • If you're using THX-certified speakers, select "80Hz". ■ Double Bass This setting is NOT set automatically by Audyssey MultEQ XT Room Correction and Speaker Setup function (➔ page 31). ` On ` Off(THX) Turn this setting on to boost bass output by feeding bass sounds from the front left, right, and center channels to the subwoofer. Note • This function can be set only if the "Subwoofer" setting is set to "Yes", and the "Front" setting is set to "Full Band". • If you're using THX-certified speakers, select "Off(THX)". ■ Subwoofer Phase ` 0º ` 180º: Moves the subwoofer phase. Speaker Configuration
With these settings, you can specify which speakers are
