1. Writing and saving LCD Panel data. 1. When replacing the LCD panel. The gamma measurement completes by writing the LCD Panel data, which is attached to the LCD panel, to the LCD monitor after replacing the LCD panel. 2. When replacing the LCD MAIN P.C.Board. The gamma measurement completes by saving the LCD Panel data of the original board to the personal computer and writing it to the new P.C.Board. When it is impossible to take out EEPROM data from the original P.C.Board, the gamma measurement completes as follows. The LCD Panel data of the LCD monitor, which was measured at production, is stored in the factory. Contact VSBD service support group to get it and write to the LCD MAIN P.C.Board. 1-1. Preparation Note: Please use the latest version of VSI part number.VSI part number will be suffixed "*" (VSI5795 *) if software is to be upgraded. < Items required for writing > • Gamma Adjustment Software (VSI5795) • PC • RS-232C cable (9P straight cable) • CD-R where gamma correction data is recorded. (When backing up the EEPROM data, it is unnecessary.) < Download of Gamma Adjustment Software > 1. When replacing the LCD panel.
The gamma measurement completes by writing the LCD Panel data, which is attached to the LCD panel, to the
LCD monitor after replacing the LCD panel.

When replacing the LCD MAIN P.C.Board.
The gamma measurement completes by saving the LCD Panel data of the original board to the personal
computer and writing it to the new P.C.Board. When it is impossible to take out EEPROM data from the original
P.C.Board, the gamma measurement completes as follows. The LCD Panel data of the LCD monitor, which
was measured at production, is stored in the factory. Contact VSBD service support group to get it and write to the
LCD MAIN P.C.Board.

if software is to be upgraded.

RS-232C cable (9P straight cable)

1. Download the file “Gamma Adjustment Software for BT-4LH310 (VSI5795.zip)” from Global Service Web
Site and unzip it.
< Connection>
1. Turn off the power of the unit and connect 232C terminal on rear panel of the unit and COM1 port on PC with
the RS-232C Cable (9pin straight).
