2-5. Gamma measurement procedure 2-5-1 Preparation for measurement 1. Download the file "Gamma Adjustment Software for BT-4LH310 (VSI5795.zip)" from Global Service Web Site and unzip it. 1. When calibration is executed, aging (60 minutes after turning the power on) is required. NOTE: While simultaneously pressing the "FUNCTION 4" button and the "FUNCTION 5" button, turn ON the power to indicate the aging time on the left upper corner of the screen. (Please hold down the buttons until the character appears on the screen.) 14M Minutes 1. Turn on the power of the LCD color analyzer. Leave it for over 5 minutes before executing ZERO Calibration. 2. Execute the LCD color analyzer's ZERO Calibration. 1). Set the probe's sighting ring to "0-CAL". SIGHTING RING 2) Press the "MEMORY CH" key to set "CH04" and press the "0-CAL" key on the front of the color analyzer. Confirm that the display of LCD display part is changed as follows. A. Display after the power-on DARKEN PROBE PUSH 0-CAL KEY B. Calibrating After pressing the "0-CAL" button ZERO CALIBRATION C. ZERO Calibration completed CH04 NTSC Am P1U [ ] 3) When ZERO Calibration is completed, return the probe's sighting ring to "MEAS". NOTE: "NO SYNC. SIGNAL" appears if the synchronization mode of the color analyzer is not set to NTSC. Set the mode to NTSC as follows. (Even in PAL area, set to NTSC.) 1) Press the "MENU" key so that "PUSH SPACE KEY" message appears. 2) Press the "SPACE" key twice so that "SYNC EXT" message appears. 3) Press the "Blue▶" key three times so that "NTSC" message appears. 4) Press the "ENTER" key. NOTE: Please execute the calibration to refer to the instructions of CA-210 for details", when the BT-4LH310 calibration values are not saved in the color analyzer. ADJ - 8
