J I i Inserting the bobbin Insert the full bobbin in the bobbin case. When doing so, pull the thread sideways through slot A, then under tension spring B so that it rests in the opening (see arrow). . j I Check: When you pull the thread, the bobbin must turn clockwise. 0 C C *: . iø Checking the bobbin thread tension Hold the bobbin case by the thread and move your hand sharply upwards. The bobbin case must slip downwards a little with each hand movement. Correcting the tension: Turn adjusting screw (C) just a little to the left to decrease the bobbin thread tension. Turn adjusting screw (C) just a little to the right to increase the bobbin thread tension.
