10. When Auto-equalizing is completed, a message is displayed as below. If the microphone is subjected to direct sunlight for an extended period, high temperatures may cause it to deform, change color and malfunction. 7 When Auto-equalizing was performed correctly: AUTO EQ ON applies to, and the "AUTO EQ" indicator lights for, all equalizer curves that are called (refer to page 39.). The called equalizer curve is set after it is corrected by Auto-equalizing. "AUTO EQ" Error Cords of Auto-equalizing Function When correct measurement of car interior acoustic characteristics is not possible with the Auto-equalizer, the following error messages are displayed. After checking, try again. Display ERROR-1 ERROR-2 ERROR-3 Cause Microphone is not connected. The microphone cannot pick up the measuring tone of the front and rear speakers. The surrounding noise level is too high. Remedy Plug in the supplied microphone securely into the jack. Confirm that the speakers are connected correctly. Set the input level setting of the power amp connected to the speakers correctly. Correctly set the microphone. Stop your car in a place that's as quite as possible, and switch off the engine and air conditioner or heater. Correctly set the microphone. 44 ITALIANO NEDERLANDS
