BEFORE USING THE MACHINE►BEFORE USING THE MACHINE TURNING ON THE POWER This section describes how to turn on/off the machine's power and how to restart the machine. The power switch is located on the left side of the machine. Turning on the power Turn the main power switch to the " " position. Turning off the power Turn the main power switch to the " " position. Restart the machine Turn the main power switch off and then on. The main power switch Turn off the main power switch and unplug the power cord if you suspect a machine failure, if there is a bad thunderstorm nearby, or when you are moving the machine. • The machine is set at the factory to return the display to the home screen one minute after a print job is finished or when the [HOME] key ( ) is pressed (auto clear function). The "Auto clear" time can be changed in the system settings. (►page 4-12) • The machine is initially set to automatically enter ENERGY SAVE mode if not used for printing, for a preset period of time. Turning on the power
Turn the main power switch to the "

Restart the machine
Turn the main power switch off and then on.
Turn off the main power switch and unplug the power cord if you suspect a machine failure, if there is a bad thunderstorm
nearby, or when you are moving the machine.
