9 Correction after Finalizing a Transaction MGR MODE When you need to void incorrect entries that servers or cashiers cannot correct (incorrect entries that are found after finalizing a transaction or cannot be corrected by direct or indirect void), follow this procedure in the MGR mode. 1. Turn the mode switch to the MGR position. 2. Press the VOID key to put your POS terminal in the VOID mode. (Note the indication on the display.) 3. Repeat the entries that are recorded on an incorrect receipt. (All data in the incorrect receipt is removed from POS terminal memory; the voided amounts are added to the void mode totalizer.) Incorrect receipt Cancellation receipt NOTE Your POS terminal leaves the VOID mode when a transaction is completed (i.e. finalized in the VOID mode). To void additional transactions, repeat steps 2. and 3. above. 63
