Basic Operations in the [Advanced Setup] Page This section explains the operations common to each frame in the [Advanced Setup] page. 1 Click the item to configure. The information for the clicked item appears in the frame on the right. 2 Make settings or perform operations for the selected item. If you make any settings, be sure to click [Set] to save the changes. 3 Jump to the [Easy Setup] screen. 4 Exits settings and automatically reboots the base station. The remainder of this section explains the specific settings and operations of each frame in the [Advanced Setup] page. Setting Up Your Internet Connection To access the base station via the Internet, you need to set its IP address and make DNS settings. Internet Connection The [Internet Connection] frame allows you to set an IP address for your base station, according to your network environment. You can also check the base station's MAC address for the wired LAN. To determine the address to set, contact your contracted ISP to the operating instructions of your modem or router. Note If you change the IP address in the [Internet Connection] frame and then click [Set] while you are connected using a router, you will no longer be able to access the [Base Station Settings] screen because the IP address changes.
