Note  When standing the player with the stand, be careful not to press down on or knock the player. About carrying the supplied stand Carry so as not to lose the stand as follows. Insert the headphone cord through the hole of the stand, and push the headphone cord into the base of the V-shaped notch to secure the stand to the headphone cord.  WM-PORT jack Connect the supplied USB cable, or optional peripheral devices.  Headphone jack Insert the headphone plug until it clicks into place. If the headphones are connected improperly, the sound from the headphones will be impaired.
