Displaying the Access Point Setup Page You can use the follow ing procedure to display the Access Point Setup Page if you are using a w ireless LAN access point that supports this function. Note s  This function is only available if you are using a w ireless LAN access point that supports the "AP Setting" button.  Configure the Web brow ser proxy settings so that the brow ser does not use a proxy for the access point IP address. When using Internet Explorer, configure the settings so that a proxy is not automatically used. The default IP address of the access point PCWA-A500 and the Wireless Broadband Routers PCWA-AR800 and PCWA-AR300 is 192.168.11.1.  If you click the "AP Setting" button w hile Internet Explorer is starting, the settings may not be applied. Make sure that Internet Explorer is running before clicking the "AP Setting" button. 1. Double-click the Wireless Panel icon on the taskbar. The Wireless Panel w indow appears. (The screenshot above show s an example w hen using a computer running Window s XP.) Hint For details on the Wireless Panel icon, refer to Checking the communication status. 2. Click the "Status" tab, and then click the "AP Setting" button. Your Web brow ser starts and displays the Access Point Setup Page. Set up the access point follow ing the on-screen instructions. Note If you change the access point settings on the Access Point Setup Page, afterw ards, change the Wireless Panel settings (w ith the Window s XP operating system, the "Wireless Netw ork Connection" dialog box settings) to match any changes made to the access point settings. Displaying the Access Point Setup Page
You can use the follow ing procedure to display the Access Point Setup Page if you are using a w ireless LAN access point that supports this function.
