I do not know how to configure the access point If the Access Point Setup Page does not open w hen you click the Wireless Panel w indow "AP Setting" button w hile using an access point supporting the function, perform the follow ing. 1. Turn on the access point. 2. Es tablish a connection to the acce s s point. If you cannot connect to the access point, see I cannot establish a connection. 3. Place your com puter closer to the access point. 4. Quit your Web brow ser if it is open. 5. If you are using the Window s XP operating system , deactivate the "Internet Connection Firew all" function by perform ing the follow ing. 1. In "Control Panel", click "Netw ork and Internet Connections", and then click "Netw ork Connections". Hint If "Netw ork and Internet Connections" does not appear, click "Sw itch to Category View " on the left. 2. Right-click the Wireless Netw ork Connection icon to w hich you w ant to connect, and click "Properties". 3. Click the "Advanced" tab and (if selected) clear the "Protect my computer and netw ork by limiting or preventing access to this computer from the Internet" check box. 4. Click "OK". Note Take appropriate precautions to ensure security w hen the "Internet Connection Firew all" function is disabled. Except w hen configuring the w ireless LAN access point, it is strongly recommended that you enable the "Internet Connection Firew all" function at all times. 6. 1.
Turn on the access point.
2.
Establish a connection to the access point.

3.
Place your computer closer to the access point.
4.
Quit your Web browser if it is open.
5.
If you are using the Window s XP operating system, deactivate the "Internet Connection Firew all" function by performing the follow ing.
1.
In "Control Panel", click "Netw ork and Internet Connections", and then click "Netw ork Connections".
Hint
If "Netw ork and Internet Connections" does not appear, click "Sw itch to Category View " on the left.
2.
Right-click the Wireless Netw ork Connection icon to w hich you w ant to connect, and click "Properties".
