"Registering Network" dialog box "Proxy" tab of the Advanced display The "Registering Netw ork" dialog box is displayed w hen you click the "New ", "Register", or "Edit" button on the "Netw ork List" tab of the Wireless Panel w indow . The default display of the "Registering Netw ork" dialog box is the Easy Setting display. Clicking the "Advanced" button changes the display to the Advanced display. Note The "Registering Netw ork" dialog box is only available if you are using the Window s 2000 operating system. 1. "Change the Proxy setup w hen Wireless LAN setup is changed" Select this check box to change the proxy settings w hen the w ireless netw ork setup is changed. Selecting this check box allow s you to select the "Automatically detect settings", "Use automatic configuration script", and "Use a proxy server" check boxes. Autom atic configuration "Autom atically detect settings" Select this check box to automatically detect proxy settings. "Us e autom atic configuration s cript" Select this check box to use an automatic configuration script. If this check box is selected, enter an automatic configuration script address in the "Address" text box. "Address" If the "Use automatic configuration script" check box is selected, enter an automatic configuration script address in this text box. 2. "Us e a proxy se rve r" Select this check box to use a proxy server. Selecting this check box allow s you to enter settings in the follow ing text box. Select this check box to automatically detect proxy settings.
"Use autom atic configuration script"
Select this check box to use an automatic configuration script.
If this check box is selected, enter an automatic configuration script address in the "Address" text box.
"Address"
If the "Use automatic configuration script" check box is selected, enter an automatic configuration script address in this text box.

Select this check box to use a proxy server.
