Using Your VAIO Computer > Using the Mouse n 36 N Using the Mouse A wireless mouse is supplied with your computer. The wireless mouse has no cables to plug in and uses a light-emitting diode (LED) instead of a ball. Using the Wireless Mouse Two AA alkaline batteries are supplied with your wireless mouse. Before attempting to use the wireless mouse, remove the battery compartment cover (1) from the bottom of the wireless mouse and install the supplied two AA batteries (2) into the battery compartment. ✍ If the wireless mouse does not operate properly, the batteries may need to be replaced. If you do not intend to use the wireless mouse for an extended period of time, remove the batteries to avoid possible damage from battery leakage.

Two AA alkaline batteries are supplied with your wireless mouse. Before attempting to use the wireless mouse, remove the
