USING THE REMOTE Using the Remote to Control A Component Once the remote has been programmed successfully, you are ready to use it to control your components, such as a VCR, DVD player, or cable TV converter. To operate the component: 1. Set the component switch to the appropriate position (VCR, DVD, or CABLE) to set the remote to control the component. 2. Press POWER to turn the component on or off. 3. Use the remote control buttons that apply to that component. 25

Using the Remote to Control A Component
Once the remote has been programmed successfully, you are ready to use it to control
your components, such as a VCR, DVD player, or cable TV converter.
To operate the component:

Set the component switch to the appropriate position (VCR, DVD, or CABLE)
