USING THE PROGRAM GUIDES What is a program guide? A program guide is an on-screen programming schedule. It is a list of the current and future programs. There are separate guides for television programs and DIRECTV® programming (available if you subscribe to DIRECTV® programming). Both of these guides can be viewed in different formats. Using the program guides is easy as long as you remember to highlight items on the screen by pressing the arrow buttons on the remote control.
