Main Menu Table Of Contents Parking Brake Driving the vehicle with the parking brake applied can damage the rear brakes, axles, and tires. A beeper will sound if the vehicle is put into gear with the parking brake on. Instruments and Controls PARKING BRAKE PEDAL To apply the parking brake, push the parking brake pedal down with your foot. To release the parking brake, push on the pedal again.
