Main Menu Table Of Contents Lights Replacing Rear Bulbs BOLTS SOCKETS MOUNTING NUT MAINTENANCE LID TAIL LIGHT TRIM BULBS 1. Open the trunk lid, and remove the left or right maintenance lid. 2. Remove the mounting nut with an 8 mm wrench. 3. Carefully pry in the top or bottom edge of the trim with a small flattipped screwdriver, and pull the trim straight back. 4. Remove the two mounting bolts with an 8 mm wrench. 5. Pull the taillight assembly straight back out of the body. 6. Determine which of the two bulbs is burned out: turn signal or backup light. 7. Remove the socket by turning it one-quarter turn counterclockwise. 8. Remove the burned out bulb by pulling it straight out of its socket. 414 2008 RL
